The free plan is a full hosted workspace, not a time-limited trial. New boards start from a gallery of 18 board templates and 7 database templates, your own saved templates, a spreadsheet import, or a description that Truetask AI turns into a plan you review.

Enter your email and we send you an 8-digit one-time code, or use a password if you prefer. A workspace can also connect an OAuth2 or OIDC provider for single sign-on.

Each workspace lives at its own address, <slug>.truetask.app. When you create it you choose where your data is stored: a US region or an EU region.

No. Truetask is a hosted cloud service you open in the browser. We operate the workspace infrastructure so your team can start without installing or maintaining servers.

Yes. Upgrade or cancel whenever you like; paid plans are one flat price per workspace, never per user. You can export your entire workspace, attachments included, as a ZIP at any time on any plan, so you're never locked in.

Create an agent and assign it a prepared task. It works through a structured run on the card, over MCP from any compatible client, from your own Claude Code or Codex in the desktop app, or as Truetask AI on the server. The team follows the steps, answers questions, inspects evidence, and approves or returns the result. Several tasks chain into a pipeline across agents.

Always. A ZIP of the whole workspace, files included, is one click away in Settings on every plan, and every board exports as JSON on its own. Your data is yours. Export it whenever you want, no approval needed.

The workspace exports as a ZIP of JSON and files, boards as JSON that import into any workspace, notes as Markdown and list data as CSV or Excel, giving the team practical, readable copies of its work.

In the region you pick when you create your workspace, US or EU, and it stays there. Once you've signed in, an idle free workspace just sleeps — we don't delete active workspaces. Workspaces that are created but never signed into are cleaned up after a few days.

MCP access is available on every plan for compatible external agents and clients. Truetask AI is included on every cloud plan with a monthly allowance, and can also run agent workflows on the server. Agent nodes inside automations are on every plan too.

Yes. The visual automation builder has 58 triggers and 56 node types: card, board, note, schedule, Git, incoming webhook, SMS and WhatsApp triggers, HTTP, email, git and note actions, conditions and loops, and an Agent node. Every node type is on every plan; plans differ in how many automations can be active at once.

Yes. Import from Trello, Asana, Jira, Notion, Linear, GitHub Projects or Todoist, from a Truetask JSON export, or from any CSV, TSV or Excel spreadsheet as a board or a database. The import dialog shows exactly what maps before anything is written, and AI can map the columns for you.

Yes. Every workspace serves a documented REST API with 476 routes and API tokens from the Free plan; paid plans remove the token cap. Truetask also provides signed outbound webhooks, incoming webhook endpoints, an n8n community node, and an MCP server with 342 tools.
